Megan Thee Stallion and She-Hulk is a pairing we didn't know we needed until now.
The 27-year-old rapper delighted viewers as she made a cameo appearance in the third episode of the Disney+ Marvel series, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. The Savage singer took on the role of a shapeshifting elf that transforms into her original self, Megan Thee Stallion, to defraud an associate of She-Hulk, played by the wonderful Tatiana Maslany.
But what would be a Megan cameo without some twerking? The star, who sported a slicked-down hairstyle with flicks at the end and a baby pink business ensemble, showed off her few moves in the post-credits scene as she and Tatiana, who plays the titular She-Hulk, get down to her the song Body.
The rapper then says: "You are way more fun than my last lawyer," to which She-Hulk scarily responds: "I will kill for you, Megan Thee Stallion." Meghan then hilariously responds: "Dial it back!" Honestly, filming with Megan Thee Stallion looked like it was such a blast!
Megan has She-Hulk actress Jameela Jamil to thank for her cameo in the show, as she was the one who recommended her to the team.
She-Hulk showrunner Jessica Gao told Shadow And Act: "It was just such a dream come true for so many of us, but especially for Tatiana because she is such a huge Megan fan. When we wrote the episode, we knew that we needed to have a very famous, successful, and beautiful female celebrity.
"But we weren't sure (if they should be) should it be an actor or a musician, like they could all work, (but) it would just be kind of a different vibe for the story. We went through a lot of possibilities, but Jamila was the one who actually brought up Megan. When she brought it up, I mean, we just all collectively lost our minds," she added.
Jameela was also sure to take credit herself, writing of Megan on Twitter: "You're all welcome! I asked her to be in the show and she said YES! And She Hulk twerking with Thee Stallion history was made. And it was glorious. Amen."
Megan was definitely the perfect choice, and She-Hulk: Attorney At Law is yet another impressive gig to add to her growing list of acting credentials. The star previously made an appearance in STARZ's show P-Valley, playing her alter ego, Tina Snow, and she will also appear in the upcoming musical comedy F***ing Identical Twins.
